Summer is finally here for college students! Yay! My freshman year is through and now I am a sophomore. This summer I plan on going to the beach two different weeks and working at Lowe's Foods, which I started two weeks ago. I love how I get paid every Friday! I just can't spend it all because I need to save it for better things. Right now my mind is on a new car. My car is getting too many miles on it and needs to be sold before I wait too long.
My grandpa is in hospice right now (I went to see him yesterday). He doesn't have many more days. He talks gibberish at times and nobody understands him. He has talked to his dead brother and father. I think angels surround him because he will just stare off into space and sometimes claim that something/someone is there but they're not. He is dying of bone cancer and every time we try to move him, he moans. He sleeps most of the time, but will wake up every now and then. He nods his head a lot when you ask him questions. He has no teeth (I have never remembered him having any since I was born) but he does have dentures. He just doesn't wear them at the moment. I can put my whole hand around his leg and see his ribs poking out. He is the nicest person you will ever meet and has never complained. He likes to do things the hard way (as in he likes to work for his money). Or used to anyways. He will never see me get married nor will he be around for my children, but he will in spirit. God will take him whenever the right time comes and nobody knows when that will be. It could be during the night tonight or a month from now. All I know is that I think he is ready to go see God now.
